Got absolutely soaked during return trip to mainland and carrying gear on and off the island - would have been drier if Iād have falling in the sea!<br /><br />Had a fantastic time though! Would recommend to anyone that they stay overnight to witness the Manx Shearwater. I've read and been told much about them, but nothing prepares you for seeing them for yourself come into the island at night!<br /><br />Many thanks to all volunteers on Skomer for their great work in keeping this gem of a birdwatchers\photographers paradise accessible and helping such brilliant wildlife to hang-on in there!<br /><br />Cheers to Pete for taking care of us during our stay ā not even the cold showers dampened our enjoyment ļ<br /><br /><br /><br />Regards,<br />NeilAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00453928783707840469noreply@blogger.com
